As a Customer Success Manager (CSM) at constellr, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our customers achieve success with our cutting-edge data solutions. Acting as their trusted advisor and advocate, you will guide customers through onboarding, empower them to unlock the full potential of our offerings, and build lasting partnerships. Your mission will center on fostering satisfaction, driving product adoption, and delivering exceptional value to our clients.

This role demands a blend of technical expertise, strategic thinking, and outstanding relationship management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Onboarding & Training: Lead customer onboarding processes and deliver tailored training to ensure proficiency with constellr’s data solutions.

  • Customer Relationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned customers, building and maintaining strong, trust-based relationships.

  • Order Fulfillment: Oversee the timely delivery of customer data orders by coordinating with internal teams to meet expectations.

  • Custom Solutions: Collaborate with customers to implement and develop solutions tailored to their specific needs.

  • Feedback Loop: Collect and relay customer feedback to internal teams, helping to shape product improvements and enhance user experience.

  • Issue Resolution: Address and resolve customer concerns promptly, coordinating across departments to ensure swift resolutions.

  • Proactive Engagement: Monitor customer success metrics, identify potential risks of churn, and implement strategies to address them.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with sales and marketing teams to identify upsell opportunities, highlight customer success stories, and share insights.

  • Insights & Reporting: Actively seek and report on customer feedback, using insights to improve solutions and services.

Job requirements

About you

  • A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., remote sensing engineering, geospatial studies, business); advanced degrees are a plus.

  • Proven experience in applying geospatial and remote sensing data to practical, real-world use cases.

  • Proficiency in English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Strong familiarity with geospatial analysis tools and GIS software (e.g., QGIS, ArcGIS, ENVI).

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills paired with a customer-first mindset.

  • Demonstrated critical thinking abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and solving customer challenges.

  • A track record of successfully building and maintaining long-term customer relationships.

  • Experience managing multiple projects or customers simultaneously, supported by outstanding organizational skills.

  • Competence in interpreting and working with geospatial datasets, including conducting basic statistical analyses.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications:

  • Experience with Python programming for data analysis or automation.

  • Proficiency in additional languages such as German, French, Spanish, or Portuguese.

  • Familiarity with working with governmental customers and addressing their unique requirements.

  • Knowledge of REST APIs, webhooks, and other data integration technologies.

  • Hands-on experience with CRM tools and workflow management platforms.

  • Insight into the applications of satellite data, especially thermal data, in fields like agriculture, environmental monitoring, industrial monitoring, or urban planning.

  • A foundational understanding of space missions and satellite data operations.

This blend of technical expertise, customer-focused mindset, and organizational skills will ensure success in this dynamic and impactful role.

For this role we are ideally looking for someone to be based out of our Toulouse or Brussels office but will accept application from Germany as well. The role is remote but please be mindful that some travel may be required.
