The Role
We’re looking for a dynamic and innovative leader to shape and evolve our growing enterprise. As our Head of People, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping our company's growth, culture and organisational design. You'll champion all facets of team and people, including talent acquisition, performance management, learning and development, culture, diversity and inclusion, compensation and benefits, and employee engagement. Reporting to our COO, you'll be a key member of our diverse leadership team, driving our people strategy and ensuring our entire team thrives in a high-risk, high-reward environment. Your responsibilities will include;
- Developing and implementing an ambitious and innovative people strategy to drive constellr’s vision, mission and values and nurture a people-first approach to growth.
- Growing a high-performing and diverse team that fosters excellence and actively reflects our core values; establishing a transparent environment to support positive employee relations and well-being.
- Manage and scale the entire employee lifecycle, from recruitment and onboarding to retention, development and off-boarding, ensuring a positive and consistent employee experience.
- Design and deliver effective learning and development tracks that enhance the skills, knowledge and capabilities of each team and individual and motivate longevity and high performance.
- Establish and monitor relevant people metrics which allow the optimisation of motivation and performance whilst providing data-driven insights and recommendations to the executive team and managers.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and policies regarding employment and labour relations.
- Develop and lead a highly engaged, agile and service-oriented people team; manage the people budget optimally.
- Stay current with the latest trends and technologies, incorporating best practices from industry insights and your own experience through continuous evaluation and application.
Job requirements
About you
- Extensive experience in people or HR teams showing progression and including leadership responsibilities.
- Ability to implement a people strategy which aligns with business objectives and culture; a partner in organisational design to support succession planning and change management.
- Proven capacity to lead and develop high-performing teams, foster a positive and inclusive work environment and maximise employee potential.
- Strong knowledge of human resources principles, best practices and legal frameworks; track record in implementing new and innovative policies and practices for scaling teams.
- An excellent understanding of resource needs and strategic planning with the ability to engage in innovative ways to leverage existing and new talent.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and influencing skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with diverse internal and external stakeholders and own strategic projects (e.g. employer branding)
- Flexible, adaptable, pragmatic and resilient, able to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Prior experience within a technology scale-up or companies with a high growth rate.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to use data and metrics to drive business outcomes.
- Considerable international experience within dynamic, technology teams. Business fluency in English and at least one other European language.
- An authentic, empathetic team player who recognises the value of collaboration, rolling up sleeves and learning on the job.
