Our Mission

We are at the forefront of temperature monitoring from space. constellr’s technology delivers the market's most precise thermal data with our Land Surface Temperature model excelling in measuring temperature for organizations that depend on highly accurate, frequent insights. Join us in advancing impactful initiatives, particularly in agriculture, where our expertise contributes to transformative projects in global food production.


The Role

Reporting to our leadership team, you will be working closely with both the local team in France (initially space and product engineers) and our Managing Director based in Germany. France represents a huge opportunity for constellr; not only is it home to some of the foremost environmental monitoring and remote sensing specialists, but it also has a significant agrifood sector and network of high relevance for our commercial growth. constellr’s new French subsidiary, based in vibrant Toulouse, will contribute to strengthening our pan-European footprint and will be the base for our strategic agri-analytics hub and associated IP development. Our Managing Director role will be instrumental in ensuring the entity is well-established and accepted in the French ecosystem.  


Location: You will be based in France (in or near Toulouse) where we will soon have our central office with expected travel within France and to our European hubs in Germany and Belgium. We offer remote & flexible working for this role, moving towards a more hybrid model once our office is fully operational.

Job requirements

About you

Required:

  • Proven experience with fundraising and securing large-ticket public grants; ability to navigate and win, with the assistance of regional and national partners, key French public funds.
  • A strategic commercial and/or policy network in France and the capability to open doors for commercial and governmental sales
  • A track record in sales: proven ability to sell to corporate or governmental entities
  • Deep knowledge and experience working in the agrifood/agribusiness sector in France/Europe

Nice to have:

  • Experience developing and growing a team.
  • Existing network in the space and remote sensing sector.
