Location: Munich / Berlin (hybrid/remote possible)
Your Role
As our Marketing & Communications Manager, you will own and execute marketing, communications, visual design, and technical content creation to bring strategic messaging to life across priority comms channels. This role operationalises strategy into materials that support defence/government engagement, branding, and business development goals. The role focuses on consistency, quality, and relevance across channels rather than high-volume content production.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing & Communications Execution
Translate messaging frameworks into tangible content: (website copy, brochures, product narratives, Case studies, technical white papers, datasheets, Presentations, pitch decks, and event materials)
Maintain consistency across all external communication touchpoints.
Communications & Content
Lead social media (LinkedIn focus), newsletter content, and press coordination.
Own content calendar, proactively aligning with defence audiences and core narrative themes.
Visual & Design Oversight
Create or manage visual design assets (in-house or via freelancers):
Brand & campaign graphics
Slide templates, one-pagers, infographics
Event & BD Support
Ensure event participation aligns with target audiences and messaging.
Localise materials for government and defence stakeholders.
Prepare senior leadership for industry events and conferences and prepare briefing materials and presentations.
Manage external creative vendors/freelancers for content and design.
Job requirements
About you
Required:
3–7 years of experience in marketing and communications.
Strong writing and content development skills in English.
Comfortable with technical documentation and translating complex tech into accessible messaging.
Strong project management and execution skills
Experience in B2G, defence, aerospace, or highly regulated industries
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced startup environment
Experience with visual design processes or creative project management.
Nice to Have:
Experience working with technical products or deep tech
Familiarity with defence industry events and media
Additional European language skills
