The Role
We are looking for a new team player in our PMO, someone with experience in project and procurement management. As our Project & Procurement Manager, you will be a creative and flexible individual, comfortable in a challenging and fast-paced environment. In this position, you will help make constellr a more sustainable and profitable company, by:
- Monitoring and controlling top-notch program execution and delivery
- Increasing our 1st Gen satellites data quality, reliability, operational availability and capacity
- Ensuring scalable procurement strategy for hard- and software procurements across the company
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Coordinating project activities, engineering and manufacturing of 1st Gen satellites, progress meetings and reviews.
- Maintaining and improving our current supply chain, through effective stakeholder management.
- Build and improve internal procurement processes, enforcing quality requirements throughout the supply chain.
- Supporting contract negotiations and placements, reporting directly to the PMO lead.
- Scouting and building relationships with potential new suppliers for future generations of satellites.
Location - Europe-based, remotely or in one of our office locations (Freiburg, Munich, Brussels, Toulouse). Travel is required for team collaborations, project meetings, and supplier visits.
Job requirements
About you
- Experience in project management and procurement, ideally in the space industry.
- Direct or indirect experience in manufacturing and testing, ability to understand our partners’ struggles and present creative solutions.
- Motivated individual, who can work autonomously, result-oriented.
- Excellent team player, who can bring their experience to the group and thrive in a very dynamic environment.
- Proactive and committed professional, capable of delivering timely results and reporting any deviation.
- Confident and smart player in tough situations such as negotiations or conflicts.
- Excellent written and spoken English
